Whether it’s muting a Zoom call every few seconds because the kids are running around or not getting enough time out of the house, there’s a desire to mix it up a bit and – who knows – even maybe bump into another real life person.
We’ve definitely felt this at Muddy, and have been using The Sanderum Centre in Chinnor, Oxfordshire.
Perched at the edge of the Chiltern Hills, and newly refurbished, the office suites can fit anywhere from two to six workstations – that’s roughly four to twelve team members. Plus, there’s a separate high-spec meeting room for one-on-one sessions, and a brand new break out area if you want a change of space and stretch of your legs.
If you’re after something a little more flexible, opt for the ad-hoc spaces, which prioritise hybrid workers and give you a detailed selection of facilities. All suites are air-conditioned and fully furnished with spacious desks and comfortable office chairs with appropriate back support.
The Sanderum Centre has good onsite parking so you can leave your car and wander into the village (a couple of minute’s walk past the handy next door Co-op to Millie’s deli and Chinnor Bakery and Café – great for grabbing a pie and heading off for some fresh Chilterns air in your lunch break.”

As a dynamic and fast-growing UK-based PLC, finding a suitably-equipped and centrally-located office for our new UK Headquarters wasn’t an easy task, so we were delighted to discover serviced and flexible office specialists, The Sanderum Centre, situated just a few miles from our previous Oxfordshire base, just off the M40 in Chinnor. Being centrally-located with good road and rail links and on-site parking was crucial for our office-based team who, like many businesses following the pandemic and extended periods of enforced working from home, are now increasing the amount of time we all spend working on-site together in the office.
With this in mind, we needed a larger space that was fully-furnished and ready to go, to facilitate an easy and uninterrupted transition from our previous headquarters. Having recently completed a full-scale renovation of Sanderum House, we were given a tour and found a suite which was absolutely perfect for our needs. The suite was already fully-equipped with top-of-the-range workstations and soft-seating area for informal team discussions and the centre also benefits from a manned reception area for visitors, an on-site meeting room space – perfect for more formal meeting and planning sessions – together with a break out area for the team to grab a coffee and a pause from work when needed.
Over the past 8 years, our business – The British Honey Company – has grown exponentially and our company now produces 13 honey products, a range of jams, and 16 spirits including gin, vodka, rum and whiskey, many of which have won awards in the UK and abroad. Our Leicestershire-based distillery has added several new brands to our portfolio in recent years, sold both in the UK and exported overseas to Europe, the USA and China, therefore it was important that our choice of office partner was fully equipped to meet the needs of this innovative and fast-paced business as we continue its growth and expansion.
