Team Roles & Responsibilities

The Sanderum Centre has gone from strength to strength over the past number of years, with our client base, and the range of business support services we are able to provide, growing considerably as a result. Headed by Katie Holliday as Business Centre Manager, with Sally and Nicola as Centre Co-Ordinators in Thame, and Sara and Dawn as Centre Co-Ordinators in Chinnor, our team’s primary focus is on providing a comprehensive, customer-responsive and cost-effective service to clients for many more years to come.

If you’d like to know a little more about what the team is responsible for, we have put together a short summary below, however if you have any particular queries, or would like to meet the team to discuss your requirements in person, please don’t hesitate to give us a call. We look forward to welcoming you to The Sanderum Centre soon.

Katie Holliday – Business Centre Manager

Katie joined The Sanderum Centre in 2003 as a Receptionist for our Chinnor site and over the course of the past 17 years has become a wonderful, highly skilled and much valued Business Centre Manager and the heart and soul of The Sanderum Centre team.

Naturally vivacious and personable, Katie is the chatterbox of our team – a quality which ensures she effortlessly gets to know each and every client and their business. This is vital in ensuring she can provide whatever professional administrative and secretarial support they may require, either as an ongoing commitment or on an ad-hoc basis covering periods of holiday, sickness or increased capacity.

Katie is also the first port of call for new and prospective clients, with primary responsibility for letting office space and ensuring new clients are settled into their new space and aware of all the facilities and support available to them.

Unsurprisingly, feedback from clients is unanimous in their praise of Katie in her role as Business Centre Manager – she’s professional, highly skilled and, with vast experience of the Receptionist role alongside that of Centre Manager, she oversees our entire operation to ensure the team continuously strive to meet and exceed customer expectations.

Sally Hayle

Sally joined our team in 2015, with a fantastic track record in the hospitality industry, previously running her own successful public house and restaurant business, where supreme organisational and juggling skills are some of the many myriad demands of the role. With her energy and enthusiasm, and her wonderful sense of humour, Sally is the very epitome of a warm and welcoming pub landlady – skills we’re delighted to say she brought to The Sanderum Centre in abundance. With her ready smile and incredible work ethic, clients love her and we don’t know what we’d do without her!

Sara Coughtrey

Sara joined The Sanderum Centre in 2019 after a moment of serendipity where she emailed us asking about vacancies just as we were about to advertise! The universe rewarded us with an incredible team member who just slotted right in with exactly the right personality and skillset needed. With a solid background as a PA, and with experience in other business support / client-facing roles, Sara works three days a week and is supremely organised, patient and calm and always goes the extra mile for everybody.

Dawn Hazell

Dawn joined us in 2020 and due to the opening of our OX9 site, was trained by Sara which has helped them form a great bond and become a fantastic job-share team! Working two days a week as Centre Co-Ordinator at our Chinnor office, Dawn comes with a wealth of experience, not least the skills she has gained running her own business alongside her husband, which is where she devotes her time when she’s not at Sanderum. Conscientious, hard-working and with fantastic customer service skills, Dawn hit the ground running and is the perfect fit for our team.

Nicola Thomas

Nicola is the newest member of our team, joining us in July 2020 as Centre Co-Ordinator in our Thame office, where she works three days a week job-sharing with Sally. Nicola was a rare find, having previously worked as the manager at Watlington Business Centre, which means she joined us with an incredible set of skills and experience gained in the same industry. Supremely calm under pressure, Nicola excels at being front of house and has already proven herself to be a fantastic asset to our team.

So that’s a brief summary of who we are and how we operate – we’d be delighted to meet you in person to show you everything The Sanderum Centre has to offer and discuss the many ways we can help your business.
