MEET OUR TEAM.

The Sanderum Centre has gone from strength to strength over the past number of years, with our client base, and the range of business support services we are able to provide, growing considerably as a result.

Headed by Caroline Cope as Managing Director, our amazing team comprises Sally as Centre Co-ordinators in Thame, Dawn and Dee as Centre Co-ordinators in Chinnor, and newest team member Clair as our Client Support Administrator, who all work incredibly hard to provide a warm and welcoming working environment for everyone at each of our three centres.

If you’d like to know a little more about the team, we have put together a short summary below, however if you have any particular queries, or would like to meet us to discuss your requirements in person, please don’t hesitate to give us a call. We look forward to welcoming you to The Sanderum Centre soon.

Caroline Cope

Managing Director | ChINNOR & THAME

Caroline has worked for The Sanderum Centre for over 26 years, starting in the Accounts Department where she excelled at the financial side of business management; in no small part due to her surprising love of a good spreadsheet and all things Excel!

A natural chameleon, as Managing Director, Caroline believes that what you do has far greater impact than what you say, and in the day-to-day running of The Sanderum Centre, wears many different hats and juggles a myriad of responsibilities, alongside her hard-working and talented team. It was while working for Zest Developments – a property developing partner business of The Sanderum Centre – that Caroline discovered her passion and flair for interior design and colourful staging, a skillset she honed to perfection as the interior designer for our third business centre, OX9, involving the total renovation of our grade 2 listed Georgian building in Thame, and most recently, the renovation of Sanderum House – our first business centre in Chinnor.

Outside of work, Caroline loves socialising with friends and being in the garden with her beloved Tibetan terrier, Poppy. Our Centres are always very grateful to benefit from her green fingers, with seasonal floral displays in the OX9 courtyard, and – most recently – working with a talented local gardener on the design and planting of a brand new Living Wall at Chinnor, which is now the stunning focal point of the building’s external transformation.

Sally Hayle

CENTRE CO-ORDINATOR | THAME

Sally joined our team in 2015, with a fantastic track record in the hospitality industry, previously running her own successful public house and restaurant business, where supreme organisational and juggling skills are some of the many myriad demands of the role.

With her energy and enthusiasm, and her wonderful sense of humour, Sally is the very epitome of a warm and welcoming pub landlady – skills we’re delighted to say she brought to The Sanderum Centre in abundance. With her ready smile and incredible work ethic, Sally always goes the extra mile – the clients and team love her and we honestly don’t know what we’d do without her!

Dawn Hazell

CENTRE CO-ORDINATOR | CHINNOR

Dawn also joined us in 2020, working three days a week as Centre Co-Ordinator at our Chinnor office.

Dawn comes with a solid wealth of experience, not least the skills she has gained running her own business alongside her husband, which is where she devotes her time when she’s not at Sanderum. Conscientious, hard-working and with fantastic administrative and customer service skills, Dawn slotted right in with exactly the right personality and skillset, and hit the ground running. Calm, capable and extremely conscientious, Dawn is a wonderful addition to The Sanderum Centre team.

Dee Wilder

CENTRE CO-ORDINATOR | CHINNOR

Dee joined us in 2021 working two days a week as a Centre Co-Ordinator at our Chinnor offices.  Dee has over 20 years of experience as a PA, office management and customer service meaning she has a vast range of professional secretarial and administrative skills across a number of diverse sectors. Dee is highly motivated, extremely dedicated, and always striving to improve operations within the office – qualities that ensured she got off to a flying start, and made an immediate positive impact in the team.

When Dee is not working, she likes spending time with her family and walking their dog.  Dee also is Vice-Chair Governor at her daughter’s school over-looking the strategic development of the school – again, honing skills that complement and enhance her role here at The Sanderum Centre perfectly.

Clair Small

CLIENT SUPPORT ADMINISTRATOR

The newest member of our team, Clair, joined us in 2022, in our newly-created position of Client Support Administrator, providing professional administrative services and support to our growing roster of clients here at The Sanderum Centre.

With superb organisational and customer service-based skills gained over a varied career including financial and administrative positions, and a number of customer-facing roles – notably assistant manager of a local wine bar, and most recently, a veterinary referral hospital, Clair’s exemplary skills and experience and her friendly personality made her the perfect choice for this important and developing new role in our business.

As a Thame resident for over 20 years, Clair is a wonderful ambassador of the town, having been involved with numerous local good causes and fund-raising initiatives, which have further developed the forward-thinking skills she brings to her role here with us. Outside of work, Clair enjoys good food and wine and spending time with family and friends, and we’re all absolutely delighted to welcome her to The Sanderum Centre team.
